KD desanders manufactured by KAMAR are specifically designed to treat Bentonite mud used in drilling and excavating operations with machines equipped with rotating drills or buckets and with forward or reverse circulation. Bentonite mud is treated and washed by separating it from solid contaminants such as sand, clay, slime, and organic matter.
The initial treatment, known as roughing, is carried out on a steel screen, where particles exceeding 4 mm are separated. The mud is then stored in a tank, and from there, it is pumped and conveyed to a system where particles exceeding 40 or 50 microns are separated. The treated mud flows into a special circuit, where a valve maintains a constant tank level. If necessary, some mud coming from the hydrocyclone flows back into the system.
All elements subject to wear are made from specially selected and tested wear-resistant materials. All purchased parts are top quality, widely available in the markets of the countries to which these machines are typically exported.

KTM turbo mixers that are manufactured by Kamar are particularly designed to treat Bentonite mud used in drilling and excavating operations. The KTM Turbo mixer consists of a sheet steel cylindrical tank set up on a strong frame. Muds are mixed through a high-speed vortex produced by a special pump which, after sucking from the bottom of the tank, sends them back tangentially into the same tank, shaped in order to get the highest efficiency. Through the timely operation of the throttle valves of the system, the pump provides for carrying the mud to the storage container or to the use area. Through this process, it's possible to obtain homogeneous colloidal and high-quality mixtures in a short time.
